Wolves wonderful wolves the scientific name is Canis Lupis.

Fun factWolves can’t see color but can see in the dark really well, I call it night vision.  
  •   When wolves howl  it is haunting to us but to wolves it is a happy sound, a homey sound, a locator.

                                 Wolves’ Habitat 

    Wolves used to live all over everywhere but then the myths and legends that said wolves were "very dangerous" started. People got scared and started killing a wolf whenever they saw one this killing spree went to such extremes that people killed wolves out of planes!  So now wolves only live in the Middle East and Canada. SAVE THESE WONDERFUL CREATURES!
                                        Wolves ‘Speed
    Walking, trotting, galloping, and loping wolves are very agile and graceful wolves have long legs and can reach a shocking speed of 35 miles per hour!
    Wolf Pups
    Wolves breed twice a year, so when a mother wolf is pregnant she digs a hole in the side of a hill, when the pups are born they start to play to practice hunting an adult wolf is always nearby watching, talk about babysitting!
    
    Wolves’ Height and Length
    Wolves are usually 32 inches in height at the shoulders and can be either 4’6” or 6’6” from nose to tip of the tail.

    Wolves’ Enemies
    Bears, big birds and other animals are enemies of the wolf. Wolves are losing numbers because of their enemies and because of other things.
    More Fun Facts
